Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient conditions and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) must be current.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
