Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Support patients with daily living activities and emotional needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
