Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor residents' vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any abnormalities to the Charge Nurse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Feed residents according to dietary restrictions and ensure proper hydration.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current and active Minnesota CNA Certification (State License).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting patients.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
