Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient care plans and progress.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
