Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and personal hygiene needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or LPN.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Florida.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
