Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Coordinate patient scheduling and handle insurance verification.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
