Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with care plans
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in acute or long-term care
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/ill patients
- Flexibility to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) with rotating holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
