Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Report patient concerns and observations promptly to clinical staff
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in a skilled nursing or hospital setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6am-6pm)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform patient transfers and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
