Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning per care plans
- Collaborate with RNs to implement patient care interventions
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Serve as communication liaison between patients and healthcare team
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
