Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately for patient assessments
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Support patients with nutritional needs and meal assistance
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Document patient observations and care activities in medical records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
