Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision with accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following OSHA and facility standards
- Support emotional well-being through patient advocacy and active listening
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Clear TB test and physical examination within last 6 months
- Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
