Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and changes in behavior in medical records.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- CPR certification is a plus.
