Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support nurses in medical procedures and treatment administration
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA certification (or reciprocity from another state)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Criminal background clearance and drug screening required
