Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Communicate patient changes, symptoms, or concerns to the Registered Nurse and charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment and document care activities.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
