Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavior changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision and document accurately
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Offer emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screen required
