Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship through conversation, games, and social engagement
- Transport clients to appointments and community events
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Assist with mobility support and transfer techniques
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Clear background check and TB test
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
