Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Light housekeeping and laundry services
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Monitor vital signs and medication schedules
- Document care activities and client progress
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid NY State driver's license and insured vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion when working with seniors
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility
