Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor clients' health status and report changes to care team
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate care records
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and hobbies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and patience working with seniors
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation to client locations
