Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and dressing
- Provide companionship through conversation, games, and outings
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care team
- Manage medication reminders and assist with prescribed routines
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying)
- Document care activities and client observations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal background and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
