Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision and compassion
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and meal planning to maintain safe, comfortable environments
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and cognitive stimulation activities
- Document care plans and client progress accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate client care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Background check clearance required
