Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to healthcare professionals
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medications and assist with prescribed healthcare routines
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment
- Collaborate with family members and care team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled individuals
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
