Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Administer medication reminders and monitor vitals
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Maintain detailed care logs and report health changes
- Adhere to HIPAA and agency protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Texas driver's license and insured vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliability and punctuality essential
