Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals tailored to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and recreational activities to reduce isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist with training).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and physically able to perform the duties of the role.
