Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to their treatment plans.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Monitor the client's health and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator immediately.
- Document daily activities and care provided in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient demeanor.
