Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Transport clients to appointments and social events
- Manage medication schedules and reminders
- Maintain clean and safe home environment
- Document care activities accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred but not mandatory
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and TB test
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Patience and empathy for elderly clients
- Flexible availability including weekends
