Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any issues to the nursing supervisor.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Provide friendly conversation and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and running errands as needed.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community outings.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the care team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR & First Aid Certification: Preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
- Compassionate Nature: Genuine desire to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Reliability: Punctual and committed to showing up for scheduled shifts.
