Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Provide medication reminders and ensure proper adherence to prescribed schedules.
  • Offer companionship and engage in conversation to reduce isolation and loneliness.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe environment.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or family.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available if not certified).
  • Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Caregiver is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic demeanor.
