Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and support with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation, reading, and shared activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the care team immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification is a plus (training provided upon hiring).
- Genuine passion for helping others, patience, and a kind demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
