Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel valued and heard.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or medication side effects to the supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical tasks as authorized.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
