Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing clients with dignity.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure the safety of our clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping as needed.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health, behavior, or medication needs to the Care Coordinator.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical tasks as trained.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing assistance, or personal care is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screening.
- Reliable work ethic and a genuine desire to help others.
