Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Companion care including conversation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize care plans
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional overnights
- Experience working with clients with dementia a plus
