Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer medications and track health vitals
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with family members
- Ensure safe home environment and fall prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate patient demeanor with cultural sensitivity
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
