Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and medication management
- Create individualized care plans in collaboration with families
- Maintain accurate client documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Passionate background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with evening/weekend availability
