Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to medical team
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping and medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and health screening
- Strong communication skills and patience with elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
