Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Prepare nutritious meals and manage light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to appointments and social engagements
- Monitor health status and document care activities accurately
- Administer medications as per care plan guidelines
- Collaborate with families and care teams for client well-being
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of senior care best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required
