Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and medication schedules while maintaining detailed care logs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Engage clients in meaningful companionship and cognitive stimulation activities
- Implement personalized care plans with attention to individual preferences and medical needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Passionate about senior care with strong empathy and patience
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Background check and drug test clearance required
