Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal care
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to care team
- Light housekeeping and home maintenance tasks
- Implement specialized care plans according to individual client needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Clean background check and drug-free
