Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medications accurately and maintain health records
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to care coordinator
- Implement personalized care plans with precision
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CNA/HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and insured vehicle
- Clear background check and TB test results
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to acquire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate personality with cultural sensitivity
