Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Monitor client health status and document care progress accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Administer prescribed medications under professional guidance
- Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Clear TB test and background check required
- Reliable transportation with valid California driver's license
- Excellent communication skills and empathy-driven approach
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred)
