Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organization
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community outings
- Maintain detailed care documentation and communicate health changes
- Follow specialized care plans for clients with chronic conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and health screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality with excellent time management
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with transfers
- Proficient in care documentation systems
