Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship through conversation, games, and recreational activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organization
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Administer medication reminders (after proper training)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- CPR/First Aid certification (will be provided if needed)
