Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Compassionate personality with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with seniors with dementia preferred
