Overview:
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring they maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and eager to deliver exceptional personal care.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any missed doses or side effects to the supervisor.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and personal preferences.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, games, and social activities to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning duties, laundry, and changing linens to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Transportation: Provide safe transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings as needed.
- Monitoring: Observe and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the family or nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar role is preferred but not always required.
- License: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Driving: Valid driverβs license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Attitude: A warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor towards seniors.
