Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as trained
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and organization of living spaces
- Companionship through conversation, games, and outings
- Document care activities and maintain client records
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pennsylvania Act 33/34 clearances
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
