Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Perform light housekeeping tasks: laundry, cleaning, and organization
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Implement customized care plans with attention to individual preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
