Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions accurately
- Transport clients to appointments and errands using personal vehicle
- Create engaging companionship through conversation, hobbies, and outings
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with family members
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia or mobility challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Clear TB test and background check required
- Strong empathy and excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
