Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions and meal planning
- Monitor vital signs and medication adherence while maintaining accurate care logs
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and cognitive stimulation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community outings
- Communicate effectively with families and care coordinators regarding client needs
- Adhere to care plans while demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and health screening
- Strong understanding of senior care protocols and safety procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
