Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
