Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility transfers and medication reminders
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes promptly
- Maintain clean, safe home environments
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Document care activities accurately in client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and genuine compassion for elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
