Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Offer companionship and emotional support to isolated seniors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Texas state HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Compassionate demeanor and physical ability to assist clients
